Willing Hands Garden

Nestled behind the blueberry patch up the road from the farmstand is a very special place. There, Zsuzsa Mitro, Cedar Circle Farm’s intern for the year, Will Allen, our farm co-manager, and Andrea Stander, Willing Hands volunteer coordinator, are plotting and planting for our 5th year of growing food for the increasing number of our Upper Valley neighbors who are in need. Last year over 6000 lbs of fresh foods were grown and harvested by more than 65 Willing Hands volunteers. The crops like corn, tomatoes, lettuce, salad mix, and many other staple varieties, are harvested and delivered in the same day to dozens of organizations around the Upper Valley. This year we doubled the size of the garden to 2 acres. We are so proud of the Willing Hands Garden Project and all the amazing volunteers who make it happen!
