Join us on the weekends in October for pumpkin picking, fall treats, food trucks, and educational workshops. Register to attend our workshops below!

The Hello Café and farmstand will be open during our usual hours every weekend and the pumpkin patch is open everyday!

Join us for a Regenerative Agriculture Tour on Sunday, October 4th or 11th at 1pm. Join us as we walk around the farm, discuss farming practices, and see how Cedar Circle is changing farming for the better. No pre-registration required; meet us by the Hello Café.

Join us for Weekend Workshops

  • Fire Cider Making

    Learn how to make Fire Cider with our Education Manager, Meredith. This spicy vinegar concoction will clear your sinuses and kick a cold to the curb. A necessary component of your winter medicine cabinet! We’ll learn a few different recipes and make some of your own Fire Cider to bring home while learning about how it works and its history. Cost includes all ingredients and supplies. Group size is limited to 10 participants.

    This workshop is for ages 15 and up.

  • Composting 101

    Learn how to make compost and turn your food scraps into nutrient rich soil. This workshop is for beginner composters who want to learn more about the basics of backyard composting. We’ll look at several kinds of composting systems and help you figure out an at-home composting system that works for your needs. Group size is limited to 10 participants.

  • Making and Using Natural Dyes

    This is an introduction to making and using natural dyes, gathered from right here on the farm! Participants will leave with tips on how to create dyes at home and will also dye a bandana (provided by Cedar Circle Farm). Open to all ages! Group size is limited to 10 participants.

  • Soil in your Backyard: Putting the Garden to Bed

    It’s time to put your successful home garden to bed! Learn the very basics of the soil in your own backyard and how to properly put your garden to bed to ensure success for the spring and more growing seasons to come. This workshop is for beginning gardeners. Group size is limited to 10 participants.
