Cedar Circle Farm & Education Center is a nonprofit, certified organic farm located on conserved land along the Connecticut River in East Thetford, Vermont. Our organization has a deep commitment to developing regenerative agriculture systems for our fruit, vegetable, and flower production and to offering educational programming that builds connections between our food, ecosystems, and community. On-farm research is ongoing here at Cedar Circle, always informing and guiding our soil health and production practices.

Our farm is a community hub with a farmstand, retail greenhouses, a farm kitchen, a coffee shop, a cut flower garden, education programs, and unique CSA options. It’s a place where folks can learn about and deepen their appreciation for organic regenerative agriculture.

Multi-Department

• Teen Farm Fellowship Lead

  Lead the next generation of farmers and changemakers! Spend summers guiding teens through hands-on organic farming, leadership, and teamwork while growing alongside our production crew. In the off-season, dive into creating and delivering engaging educational programs for all ages—helping cultivate curiosity and connection to sustainable agriculture year-round.

• Farmer Field Rep

  Combining hands-on farming with customer engagement, this position involves tasks ranging from vegetable production to retail market representation. The ideal candidate will manage field work, relay crop knowledge to customers, and assist with farmers’ markets and farmstand operations, bridging the gap between farm production and community understanding.

Vegetable Production

  We are seeking a leadership team member with multiple years of diversified organic vegetable growing experience and an interest in joining our team for multiple growing seasons. Bring your experience and learn, collaborate and grow with us!

• Summer Production Crew

  Immerse yourself in the rewarding world of diversified vegetable farming, where you’ll tackle a variety of hands-on tasks—from planning and cultivating crops to harvesting and packaging—while helping grow healthy, sustainable food for the community. Annual & Perennial Department

• Annual & Perennial Lead

  This dynamic role combines hands-on greenhouse and field work, team leadership, and customer service to create thriving growing environments and exceptional retail experiences. With a focus on sustainability and building ecological resilience through native perennials and cut flowers, you’ll help inspire visitors and staff alike while contributing to meaningful production, education, and community engagement.

• Annual & Perennial Full Season Team

  Join our vibrant Annual & Perennial team for the season (March/April–September/October) and immerse yourself in the beauty of greenhouse and field production! This hands-on role offers a chance to grow your skills, work outdoors, and bring your love for plants to life—all while supporting mission-driven farming and research.

Farmstand & Hello Café

• Hello Café Lead

  Be the heart of our farm’s café as the Café Lead! You’ll craft delicious drinks, welcome guests with a smile, and keep the café buzzing with great vibes—all while working closely with a team that’s passionate about food, farming, and local organic goodness. If you love coffee, connecting with people, and leading by example, this is your perfect blend!

• Full Season Farmstand Crew (2025)

  Full & Part Time positions, April to December. Connect with customers, share your passion for local, organic food, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment! Whether you’re helping guests find fresh produce, crafting delicious coffee drinks, or keeping our displays looking beautiful, this role is perfect for friendly, service-minded individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

• Summer Farmstand Crew (2025)

  Full & Part Time positions, mid-late May to August. Connect with customers, share your passion for local, organic food, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment! Whether you’re helping guests find fresh produce, crafting delicious coffee drinks, or keeping our displays looking beautiful, this role is perfect for friendly, service-minded individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

• Market Lead

  We are looking for an outgoing, ambitious, confident Farmers’ Market Lead who will connect with guests, assist with answering questions, and work with the Retail Manager to make the operation super efficient and fun.

Education Center

• Summer Camp Director and Education Lead

  Play a pivotal role in shaping and leading dynamic, farm-based education programs for all ages, with a spotlight on our beloved summer camp. From designing and implementing engaging curricula, to mentoring staff and cultivating connections with the community, this position offers the perfect blend of leadership, creativity, and hands-on teaching in an inspiring agricultural setting.

• Summer Camp Head Educator (2025)

  Lead outdoor adventures, inspire young minds to connect with nature and food, mentor fellow educators, and create unforgettable experiences in our vibrant farm-based summer camp!

• Summer Camp Educator (2025)
