Work With Us!

Winter seems to be flying by here at the farm. The seed orders are in, the first tomatoes and flowers will be started this month, and we are looking for new members to join our 2020 Production Crew!

Hello friends of Cedar Circle Farm! My name is Sam Clerkin and I am the Production Crew field lead. I am part of the team that manages the fields and the vegetable production. We are looking for people to join us for the upcoming season! If you have ever wondered what it is like to work on the farm, this is your chance to find out. We are hiring for multiple positions for the 2020 growing season.

During this period of relative quiet I have had the chance to reflect on some of the many reasons why I love working at Cedar Circle, and I wanted to share some of my thoughts with you. As a member of the production crew I get to work hard in the fields to grow and care for the vegetables and berries we sell in the farmstand and at markets - and I have fun doing it! The work is hard but rewarding. There are tangible results to our efforts, and at the end of the day we have a healthy product that we can share with the community. Every day is different and I am always being challenged to come up with creative solutions to various problems. I learn something new every day! I love to watch the plants grow and feel the seasons change, all while working for an organization that is contributing to sustainability and stewardship of this beautiful piece of land.

If you are curious, motivated, and hard-working, this job could be right for you! Other job openings at the farm include positions with the Marketing and Sales department, a Lead Education position, and both full and part-time opportunities in the retail greenhouses. All of our job descriptions and a link to our application is available here.
