Tracey Saunders

Development Director

Tracey is a long-time resident of the Upper Valley and has spent many days at Cedar Circle with friends and family over the years. While the shape of her visits to the farm has shifted—from leisurely café and flower-focused outings to hurried stops for a last-minute dinner ingredient, and hours spent in the sandbox with her kids—her love for and commitment to the farm has remained constant.

She joined the team as Development Director in April 2025, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit world, with a background in higher education, theatre, and special education. Tracey is a natural connector—passionate about storytelling, building relationships, and thinking strategically to support meaningful, mission-driven work.

She holds a B.A. in Women’s Studies and Sociology from the University of New Hampshire and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Marlboro College. A seasoned development and communications professional, Tracey brings deep expertise in grant writing and reporting, event planning, outreach strategy, organizational leadership, and volunteer engagement—all grounded in a strong commitment to equity and teamwork.

Outside of life on the farm, Tracey wears many hats—including full-time shuttle driver for her three young kids. She loves being outdoors—learning to garden, hiking, biking, skiing, practicing yoga—and tossing the ball for their family dog, Murphy. When she’s not chatting strategy or dreaming up bold new ideas, she’s always up for talking Broadway musicals or figure skating.
