Elly is an outdoor educator and trip leader who enjoys sharing her passion for the wonders of the natural world through teaching young people. Elly grew up in Southern New Jersey, where she spent many summer nights camping in the local state park, and fell in love with exploring Maine's backcountry when coming up to Maine for summer camp. After finishing college with a degree in Geographic Information Science, Elly moved to New England and has been honing her skills as an outdoor leader, guiding groups through various outdoor activities and educational experiences.
Elly's love of getting outside as often as possible has led her to explore diverse landscapes throughout New England, from mountain trails to beautiful waterways. Recently, Elly has been working on her downhill skiing skills and delved into the world of canoe racing, amassing more boats than one probably needs, depending on who you ask.
