Ally Johnson
Farmstand Manager
Ally is a long-time Cedar Circle Farm visitor and enthusiast. She and her family have savored many special moments enjoying the people, community, nature, food, and magic of the farm, and Ally is now thrilled to be able to support the farm as the Farmstand and Café Manager.
Her passion for real, local, and organic food has been a central focus of her life and career; Ally studied dietetics, nutritional sciences, and food studies at New York University and the University of Vermont. Her passion for food and nutrition stems from her belief that "you are what you eat" and her view that the kitchen is a delicious laboratory where the experimental results are edible and the possibilities are endless.
She has spent much of her career promoting health and wellness to diverse populations. A key component of her work has been centered around encouraging the intake of healthy, fresh fruits and vegetables, which is what drew her to Cedar Circle Farm, both as a patron and a staff member.
Ally loves to be outside in nature whenever possible. She can be found on any given day on various hiking trails, jogging anywhere she can find a good path, doing yoga, reading, meditating, listening to music, enjoying performing and visual arts, traveling, and spending time with her very special, valued, and loved people and animals.
