Dahlia Tubers

Who doesn’t love a giant dahlia? This annual flower is, in our opinion, one of the prettiest flowers in a summer garden and are perfect for bouquets.

There are literally thousands of varieties of dahlias, from anemone to cactus to decorative and more. By offering tubers in our farmstand, we’re able to share so many more dahlias with you – over 20 different varieties!

Don’t be intimidated by planting a tuber; it’s easier than growing the plants from seed. There are two ways to do it: start them indoors a few weeks before the last frost or wait until the beginning of May to plant them in the ground directly.

If planting directly, just dig a hole and place them right in the ground. Make sure to mark the area where the tuber was planted. That way, when you see young leaves begin to emerge you know exactly what they are.
