Wedding Flowers

Book a private pick-your-own wedding flower party, complete with DIY design instructions. Feature locally grown flowers at your wedding and treat your wedding party to a relaxing, hands-on experience at our beautiful farm. Package pricing starts at $350. To ensure the best picking experience we limit the number of parties per day and per week. This is to make sure each party has an adequate number of flowers and reduce stress on the cutting gardens. We recommend cutting your flowers one to two days before your event. Because you will be cutting your flowers fresh from the field; they will last at least a week in a vase with proper care.

Our flowers are grown outdoors on a one acre plot located across the street from our farmstand. This is where you and your party will be able to relax while walking the gardens and cutting your own flowers. Because we do all of our growing outdoors, flower variety and abundance of particular colors can vary depending on the time of year. Click here to see what is likely to be available during specific times of the year. This can also vary from week to week so it is important that brides are somewhat flexible with their vision. We only offer what we are able to grow and do not order in any flowers. But if you would like something special (like roses) that we do not grow, you are welcome to bring them with you to incorporate into your arrangements.

When you visit our farm, you will be greeted at our farmstand and given a coupon for a free coffee or tea in our cafe’. While you are relaxing with a drink and your loved ones, we will be filling your containers with water and getting them ready for you to begin arranging. You will need to bring all of the vessels that you plan on using for your wedding washed out and ready to go. Please make sure that all your containers can hold water without leaking before your appointment.

After everything is set up for you in the arranging area you will be taken from the cafe and into the gardens where you will be provided with scissors, buckets and I will be with you to help guide you and answer any questions you may have. When all of the buckets have been filled up with flowers you will be taken into the arranging area where you can get right to work creating your centerpieces. One of our floral staff will be with your group at all times to answer questions and help with arranging.

When your arrangements are complete, you have the option to take your arrangements with you or leave them with us to be stored in our cooler. We offer delivery but you can also have someone from your party pick them up the day of your event. There is no additional charge for storage. Our pick your own package includes all of the flowers you will need for you table or small isle arrangements. Our package rate is based on averages. Most parties bring between 30 to 40 various size vases roughly the size of quart ball jars. *If we find that the number or size of your arrangements are substantially more than average, we reserve the right to adjust pricing as needed.

For guests bringing 15 or fewer vases or are interested in a more delicate look with fewer stems per vase; we offer a by the stem option. Stem prices range between $0.50 and $2.00 per stem.

You can bring up 10 people to help you cut and arrange your flowers. Most parties have found that 5 to 6 people is a comfortable number.

Items such as bouquets and corsages can be added for an additional fee. We will pick out the flowers you would like together and our floral team will create your bouquets and other items on site with your input so we can make exactly what you are looking for.

Payment is due the day of your appointment and can be paid in the farm stand, we accept cash check and credit/debit cards. There is no deposit required to book an appointment and no fees for cancelling.

We have never had to cancel an appointment due to weather. What we may do, if severe weather is forecast, including thunderstorms or heavy rain; is harvest loose stems a day before your appointment and hold them for you in our coolers. We may also contact you and suggest a different day or time that looks more favorable. If weather conditions require us to cancel your appointment we will inform you no later than a week prior to your appointment date.
