Fall Flowers

We change our wardrobe, get back to school and head to the apple orchards and pumpkin patches. Michelle and I wondered, why not change your flowers too?

There is a sense of change in the air these days. If you look hard enough you can see the colors change in the trees. Our crew stood below the first flock of geese following the Connecticut south just a few days ago. We change our wardrobe, get back to school and head to the apple orchards and pumpkin patches. Michelle and I wondered, why not change your flowers too? The flowers that flourish in your gardens and containers in the hottest months of the year will soon fade in the cool weather but there are many blooms that prefer the fall and spring to the heat of summer. We have selected some of our favorite cool weather annuals for sale in the greenhouse and around the farm stand and created a selection of mixed pots and hanging baskets to spruce up your porch and patio. Some of them will even last through Thanksgiving! So don’t put away the garden, just change it out like skirts to jeans or sandals to boots. Fall isn’t just about mums anymore!
