Nic Cook
Research and Soil Conservation Manager
Nic Cook joined the team at Cedar Circle in 2002, as one of only three members of our field crew! He’s since become the first ever manager of our Research and Development department, and spends his time on the farm overseeing our soil conservation and general research efforts, among various other tasks. In 2018, he received a degree in Environmental Science from CCV, which has helped him explore the relationships between agriculture, culture, environment, and climate, and believes that agriculture can provide solutions to some of the world’s biggest problems.
Nic grew up in West Fairlee, attended Thetford Academy, and now lives here on Pavillion Road with his wife, two kids, and family dog. When not on the farm, he can be found playing soccer, coaching tee-ball, and during the spring, producing and enjoying maple syrup!
