Nic Cook

Research and Soil Conservation Manager

Nic has been at Cedar Circle Farm since 2003. He joined the farm as a young man eager to learn and work hard. He did just about everything in those early years when he was one of 4 employees! Over the years Nic’s skill set has grown exponentially, while his interests have focused in on soil management.

In 2018, Nic took on management of Research and Development at the farm. He is specifically interested in alternative agriculture techniques and through his own trials and errors, in joint trials with UVM, and using new knowledge gained in environmental science classes at CCV, Nic brings great energy and expertise to Cedar Circle Farm.

When he’s not at the farm, he spends his time in the woods tapping trees to make his own maple syrup.
