Introducing… Greens & Grains at the Hello Café—our new weekly salad and grain bar experience! Whether you’re craving something light and fresh or hearty and customizable, we’ve got your midweek meal covered.

Think of it like a build-your-own salad bar — with a fresh Cedar Circle twist. Start with a seasonal base of organic farm-grown greens, then mix and match your favorite toppings. No reservations, no stress — just walk in, build your bowl, and dig in.

How It Works

  • First come, first served – we won’t take advance reservations or pre-orders
  • Every Wednesday, 4–5 PM
  • Runs weekly through October
  • Bring your appetite and maybe your favorite reusable container (save $1 off your order for BYO!)

Come solo or bring a friend — Greens & Grains is your new favorite farm tradition in the making.

Pricing

We keep it simple and flexible, similar to adding toppings to a pizza:

  • Base Price ($5.00) — Includes 4 oz. of greens and grains + pre-portioned dressing
  • Premium Topping Add-Ons ($1.00 per portion) — Hard Boiled Egg, Bacon, Cheese
  • Main Protein ($3.00 per portion)
  • Seasonal Veggies ($0.50 per portion)
  • Crunchies ($1.00 per portion) — Seeds, nuts, tortilla strips, etc.
  • Dried Fruit ($1.00 per portion)

Build Your Bowl

The Base: Fresh Seasonal Greens or Grains

Our greens are grown right here on the farm and vary week to week, based on what’s in season. Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Lettuce Mix
  • Kale
  • Baby Kale
  • Arugula
  • Bok Choy

The grains in our bowls are 100% organic, and thoughtfully sourced from around the world — including rice from Texas, quinoa from Bolivia, orzo and farro from Italy, and bulgur from California. We choose each one with care to ensure quality, flavor, and sustainability. Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Quinoa
  • Farro
  • Rice
  • Couscous
  • Orzo
  • Bulgur
  • Lo Mein Noodles

Seasonal Toppings

We’ll be featuring a rotating selection of farm-fresh vegetables and house-made additions, perfect for layering up your perfect plate. Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Spring: Asparagus, Beets, Radish
  • Summer: Cherry Tomatoes, Cucumber, Sweet Peppers
  • Fall: Potatoes, Winter Squash, Fall Cabbage

Protein Add-Ons

A few examples: fresh herb roasted chicken, za’atar spiced chickpeas (vegan-friendly!), bacon, sriracha tofu, hard boiled egg, ham, turkey, cheeses (feta, cheddar, swiss), and a variety of beans

Other Add-Ons

Feeling extra?! Consider including some add-ons for a seriously robust bowl creation. Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Nuts
  • Cheese
  • Pickled Vegetables
  • Dried Fruits

Dressing

A pre-portioned serving of homemade dressings are included with your salad. We’ll rotate options regularly to keep things interesting!
