Anna joined the Cedar Circle Farm team in Spring of 2011. She manages the farmstand and Hello Café, working with her great team of retail staff to sell all of the delicious produce and products that are grown and produced at the farm, as well as all of the local, organic, and specialty grocery items that she buys in from other farms and producers. Anna also spends a lot of time in the Cedar Circle Farm office, working on many things, including marketing and graphic design.
Prior to working at Cedar Circle Farm, Anna lived in the Bay Area where she worked as the Volunteer Services Coordinator at the San Francisco Food Bank. While living in California, she also worked for Slow Food Nation, helping to organize the Victory Garden Project, which brought a productive vegetable garden to San Francisco’s Civic Center Plaza in order to educate the public about sustainable agriculture and healthy food.
Anna has spent multiple seasons working on organic farms around her home state of Vermont – doing field work, greenhouse work, and working with kids and in retail. She loves the Cedar Circle Farm community and is always excited to meet and work with people who share her commitment to local and organic agriculture, food justice, and cooking and eating delicious food.
