What is better than the simplest of smoothies made with farm-fresh strawberries? After working hard in your garden, reward yourself with this fresh and healthy treat. It will feel like dessert. Have fresh CCF strawberries prepared in the freezer for when you are craving smoothies. Feel free to add whatever ingredients you like for complexity- coconut, lemon, cashews, kale, banana, cocoa powder… so many variations!
- 1 c berries (better if frozen, they make it colder)
- 1 c yogurt maple or vanilla
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend thoroughly, serve cold. Makes 2 servings.
