Farmstand

The Farmstand opens on May Day with colorful pansies, primroses, geraniums, & tender spring greens.

A trip to the farmstand for Mother’s Day has become a tradition for many families as they shop for hanging baskets and plan their gardens, choosing from hundreds of varieties of annuals and perennials. By Memorial Day, Vermont’s biggest gardening weekend of the year, our organic vegetable bedding plants are ready to go.

Hours

Monday - Saturday, 10 to 6
Sunday, 10 to 5

In addition to vegetables and flowers, customers can find locally made products such as artisan cheeses, honey, maple syrup, organic milk, yogurt, and ice cream, and farm-made jams and pickles, as well as books, note cards, Cedar Circle Farm tote bags, caps, t-shirts, and sweatshirts.

Customers can also shop for garden tools and unusual and interesting fair-trade garden pottery imported from Mexico—beautifully painted ceramic pots in many sizes, along with colorful frogs, salamanders, butterflies and turtles—perfect for decorating homes and gardens.

A family-friendly farm, kids entertain themselves in the sand box, while parents shop or enjoy espresso drinks and baked goods in the Hello Café, within view of the play area.

Throughout the season we offer an abundance of seasonal vegetables and berries starting with asparagus and rhubarb in early June and pumpkins and root vegetables into the fall. You-pick certified organic berries draw customers to the farm for strawberries beginning in mid-June, blueberries in July, and pumpkins in the fall.

Our annual harvest festivals celebrate strawberries the last Sunday of June and pumpkins the Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. Horse-drawn wagon rides to the pumpkin patch are also offered the last two weekends in October.

The farmstand and café close for the season at the end of October, allowing the crew to take a much needed break until the planting begins again in February.
